A roarsome Valentine celebration in the Lion’s Den! 🦁💘This week was full of hugs, laughter, and kindness as our cubs celebrated friendship in the sweetest ways. We made colorful friendship bracelets, mixed up delicious friendship trail mix, and created heartfelt valentines for our friends and family. 💌✨We’re also excited to begin our Community Helpers unit! We welcomed a very special guest presenter—one of our wonderful AHCNS parents, who shared about her experience as a physical therapist. Snow and ice week! The Monkeys have had a blast building with “snowcrete” blocks, sliding around like penguins, making snow angels, and experiencing our playground from a new perspective!At AHCNS we believe outdoor time is critical to early childhood development. We view our playground as an extension of the classroom and go outside whenever possible. Preschool is a work of heart 💖, especially when we’re getting ready for Valentine’s Day! Now that we’re finally back after a long week of snow and ice, the Lions 🦁 made glowing heart suncatchers, decorated and delivered valentines in our very own post office, and shared what fills our hearts💗. We went on a Valentine letter scavenger hunt and began filling our Kindness Tree 🌳 with all sorts of acts of kindness observed throughout the day—supporting one of our main focuses this month: Friendship. 💌✨In other news… take a look at Pumpkin Jack’s progress 🎃 Not one, not two, but over TEN sprouts have emerged from his decomposing pumpkin flesh! 🌱😄🌈 Visit our website to learn more and schedule a tour!
