More Monkey projects: a wintry woodland sensory table, migrating watercolor birds, hibernating turtles, and animal footprints. We love hands-on learning!#ahcns #cooperativepreschool #preschool #earlychildhoodeducation ... See MoreSee Less

What do wild animals do in the winter to survive? Adapt, migrate, or hibernate. The Monkeys learned hands on about hibernation: we pretended to be bears, turtles, and ladybugs asleep in our cozy winter spots and helped our paper turtles snuggle down under the mud to wait for spring! More posts to come with our migration and adaptation activities… #ahcns #preschool #cooperativepreschool #earlychildhoodeducation #LearningThroughPlay ... See MoreSee Less

Today the Monkeys began to discuss one of Mrs. Popson's favorite themes: what animals do in winter. We made bird feeders with Cheerios (thanks, Mrs. C.!) to help feed local birds who do not migrate to warmer parts of the world... and their sneaky squirrel friends.#ahcns #cooperativepreschool #earlychildhoodeducation #preschool ... We are thankful for all our families who were able to come out and make our Thanksgiving such a huge success today. The food, the company, and the entertainment (care of our Tiger class) were all excellent! Hope you all have a very happy holiday this week. We’ll see you back on the 27th! #ahcns #cooperativepreschool #playbasedpreschool #thanksgiving #ahcns ... See MoreSee Less
