What does learning look like in preschool? 🤔 Sometimes, it looks like building, exploring, moving, pretending, problem-solving, creating, and working together.Because in preschool, learning doesn’t always look like sitting at a desk or filling out a worksheet. It looks like curious minds, busy hands, big ideas, and children discovering what they can do. ✨At Aspen Hill Cooperative Nursery School, play is how children learn about themselves, each other, and the world around them. Through everyday moments of play and exploration, they’re building confidence, independence, creativity, communication skills, and a lifelong love of learning. ❤️This is what learning looks like here. And we think it looks pretty wonderful.📍 Rockville, MD🧸 Play-based cooperative preschool✨ Currently enrolling in all classes💬 DM us to learn more!#RockvilleMD #MontgomeryCountyMD #LearningThroughPlay #cooplife #pcpi Parent Cooperative Preschools International (PCPI) ...

🍂🐼 It’s fall in the Panda classroom! Our little Pandas are exploring the season through hands-on play and colorful process art—mixing red and yellow to make orange and painting with fallen leaves and acorns! 🎨🧡Our fall sensory bin is full of discoveries, including pumpkins, corn, and leaves with different colors and textures. We’re even dropping leaves and watching them float slowly to the ground! 🍁So much to touch, create, and discover with our curious little Pandas! 🐼💛#pandapreschooladventures #ahcns #fallprocessart #pcpischools ...

We are excited to go to sharps_farm next week! To prepare the Monkeys have been learning about farm animals and machines. So far our favorite farm animals are: pigs, cows, ducks, horses, cats, and dogs. What is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!#ahcns #cooperativepreschool #earlychildhoodeducation #playbasedlearning #ahcnsmonkeys #SharpsFarm ...

Ooey gooey shaving cream! Our Monkeys tested out a new sensory material last week… how it felt, how it smelled, how it looked and sounded squirting out of the can into a mountain of white fluff! (Sorry, tasting not recommended 🤢!)#ahcns #cooperativepreschool #earlychildhoodeducation #learningthroughplay #ahcnsmonkeys #sensoryplay ...
