❄️ Happy First Snow from the Lions’ Den! 🦁 A busy start to a busy month of learning and play, all while preparing gifts for our loved ones. This week, we made melted snowmen, and the Lions were asked, “If you were a snowman, who would you melt for?”. ⛄️ We heard about all sorts of special people, from parents to teachers! The Lions have also been discussing the 5 senses through sensory play, smelly markers, and jingle bells! ✏️ The Lions challenge YOU to comment one thing you can see, one thing you can smell, one thing you can hear, one thing you can taste, and one thing you can touch (Holiday Edition)! 🌲 Your time starts….. The Monkeys have been learning about recipes as we get ready for Thanksgiving. Recipes help us think about sequencing and following directions, and they introduce new vocabulary like “mix,” “stir,” and “scoop.” We learned about measuring ingredients and the science of combining things to make something else. When we followed our recipe in class we used our fine motor skills to scoop and pour. We also used our imaginations to make up our own recipes!
